On the residential side, the development will feature 8,000 housing units ranging from multi-family apartments to townhomes and single-family homes. The project will also host a Wake Tech campus and NC Children's Hospital, adding significant educational and healthcare resources to the community.

Summit House and Retail Development

The first major residential component, Summit House, will set the tone for Veridea's residential offerings. This 291-unit apartment building comes equipped with extensive amenities including walkable trails and swimming pools. Expected to complete by 2027, Summit House will serve as the gateway to the broader community. Following closely behind, approximately 100,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space will open alongside the residential areas, providing convenient shopping and dining options for early residents.

Future Expansion

The momentum continues with Lennar's purchase of land in Apex to construct 1,077 homes, including single-family residences, townhomes, and condos. First move-ins are anticipated around May 2028. Meanwhile, NC Children's Hospital represents a significant healthcare addition to the region. After extensive planning and development work, the hospital is scheduled for completion in 2032 and will bring up to 800 jobs to the area.
